Departure and Arrival Times
Departure is by 10am and arrival from 4pm. Circumstances may allow these times to be amended by prior agreement where possible to accommodate guests individual travel arrangements, we endeavour to be flexible.
What’s included
The price of your booking includes, accommodation, hot tub, linen, towels, dressing gowns, electricity, heating, dishwasher, microwave, oven fridge/freezer, smart TV, Hairdryer, Tassimo machine with coffee pods, tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, toiletries and free WIFI.
Cancellation Policy
We appreciate that unforeseen circumstances and events beyond your control may force you to change your plans. Whilst direct refunds are not policy we will do our best to accommodate date amendments. A previous booking can be used as part payment to a change in booking.
In the event of adverse weather or breakdown causing you to cancel your booking, we are in no way responsible for any losses so incurred.
Notification of cancellation must be received from you to us in writing. It is strongly recommended to takeout travel insurance.
Complaints
Any complaints regarding your stay with us should be made in the first instance to ‘Migdale Heights’ at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time.
Vehicles & Personal Property
Vehicles, accessories and contents are parked or left at Migdale Heights at their owner’s risk. The proprietors will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of property or injury to persons not caused through the fault of the proprietor.
Unacceptable Behaviour
We reserve the right to remove or restrict entry to a property where any person or persons conduct unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property, or exceed the stated occupancy.
No refunds will be given in this instance.
Strictly No smoking in the cabins or decking area, this will be treated as unreasonable behaviour.
The owner reserves the right to make a charge to cover additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.
You must not re-let or sub let the property, even free of charge.
Damages and Breakages
You are fully responsible for any damage or breakage you or anyone in your party cause to the property, contents or grounds. You must report any such damage at the earliest convenience to enable repair or replacement to be arranged. In the event of damage, we will charge you the value of the item or repair work. We expect the property to be left as it is found.
Dog Policy
We accept dogs. Please make a special request if you would like to bring a dog to Migdale Heights when booking through one of our third party Agencies via Travelnest. An additional cleaning surcharge will be charged and sent through by payment link to you to be paid within 48hrs of the booking being made. Dogs should not be left unsupervised in the cabins. We ask that you bring old towels to dry your dog off after walks. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. All dog waste must be bagged and binned
Hot tubs
Both cabins have hot tubs. One of our Migdale Heights team will discreetly check the chemical levels for your own health and safety. The hot tub should not be used by;
Anyone with a serious illness, a heart condition, high or low blood pressure or any other medical condition which may affect your reaction to heat. Consult your Doctor first. Pregnant woman are advised not to use hot tubs or to seek medical advise first. People with diabetes should also check with their doctor prior to using the hot tub.
Anyone with a contagious disease, infectious skin condition, open sores or wounds.
Within 1 ½ hours after a heavy meal
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs
After exercise, time should be allowed to enable the body temperature to return to normal levels.
Insurance
We strongly advise that you take out suitable travel insurance to cover eventualities. We can not accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation. We also cannot accept liability for any accident, injuries, illness, loss or damage suffered to persons or animals either in the property or on our premises.
N.B We (the owner) reserve the rights to refuse a booking without giving any reason.
We (the owner) or our representative reserve the right to enter the property at any time to undertake essential maintenance or for inspection purposes.
